Station's Access Pass is increasing by $3 from $21.99 to $24.99 a month.

" As of June 1st, it costs a little more to have complete access to Sony Online Entertainment's "premium" lineup of online games. The company had been previously charging subscribers $21.99 a month, but they're citing operating costs as the reason for increasing the subscription by $3 to the current rate of $24.99 a month.

"...the cost of operating the game service for the games included in the Station Access subscription package has increased significantly since we launched Station Access," reads a company statement. "This change will help us achieve our goal of seeing that every player has a consistently enjoyable experience in our game worlds and we intend to continue to add value to this all-in-one subscription package."

At the moment, the $24.99 a month Station Access provides you unlimited monthly playing time with The Matrix Online, EverQuest II, EverQuest on PC and Mac, PlanetSide, EverQuest Online Adventures for PS2, Star Wars Galaxies and smaller games Infantry Online, Cosmic Rift Online and Tanarus.

You don't have to sign up for Station Access if you're only interested in one of SOE's online games, but it's a solid deal if you're a multi-tasking MMO player. Remember, though, the subscription doesn't include the initial costs of purchasing the game. "
