Greetings all
Since I've been making a lot thread to post my stuff I thought ... if that were on PS i thing there would be less curves when it can be avoided and useing good texture to simulate all the curves. basicly i thing soem part would be more squar for the lowest textur and polly models in game. er i think i lost my self lol.. if someone can explaing what i mean better it would help lol. But other wise Nice model ^_^

try to make the model with less curves simple block structure and less polygons. Sometimes when I tend to be more detail and other times I would just rush through lol |

Ok I did some fix on the Supply Depot i made earlier ... well
not much of a change and Hayoo >< the only thing I see at the upper right corner of the Reply window is 'Logged in as Kusutto' above that is Thread: Blah Blah Blah so I am going to just post the pic here hope is not too big if it's too big how do I make them into icons like on ur sketch thread. Pic 1 Pic 2 Pic 3 these are the updates for now. I will try to make more blocks LOL for probably Urban outpost buildings Last edited by Kusutto : 2006.04.12 at 0340. |

Thanks Hayoo, Yeah I need to go to UserCP to change that :D
OK here we go .. I get rid off the Rail and Rail Platform, and added Pylonstruct. added both 15mm and 75mm (for fun) Basic Blocks for Maglev Station. *Note: well the size of the station is a bit off... and I have no idea how to texture them lol and no good/suitable texture. overview not a lot today I spend a lot time just playing around the UVW thingy which I have no idea. |

yeah, UVW wraping is kind of an odd concept to grasp. Some nice stuff you got here.

I do the renders in 3Dstudio max 7, it is a feature GmaX doesn't have because it's usefull. GmaX doesn't have a lot of nice things.

oh Aut and Pyro if u want the file let me know. (Don't want to bother you two too much, U guys are busy I presume, and my blocks of model will need a lot fixing too XP feel free to let me know where I did wrong and how to fix them). Hayoo, I am trying to compose something like Enjar did but a little different. The whole area may not fit in one pic... might need several screen shots. Building #01 Building #02 Building #03 [MC=Med Center] quick question Pyro and Enjar ... can I still use Sketchup after the trial time is used? Because I would love to learn to use that as well... [with Gmax u want to make interior scenes is a lot pain and sweat and doesn't look good imho. [at my skill level they look crappy] Oh oh oh .. anyone know how to do animation with Gmax or 3D Studio Max? I would want to make the camera move with the Maglev. Camera from Beach to nearest Urban Outpost where the Maglev station and Supply Depot can be found. The Camera will rotate above or at ground lvl around the Urban outpost. Then the Camera will lock on the Maglev trains ... from behind, above, side, or whatever. Then arrive at a nearby ............ Facility or Battle Field. Now I would imagine that's a lot work ... but ... hum ... Maybe we can make a Gif file ... (I wonder how big that will be) and that Animation will probably serve as a Illustration/Demo for Beach Assault and Maglev and part of the Urban Outpost. oh oh oh my next model will be an NTU/Energy Bank... the design could vary but I have one draw already ... I added yours and ejnar's maglev renders to the published Maglev page on Idealab. Thanks for letting me use the images, helps a great deal.
