Re: KUSUTTO BUNKER 3D

nice man thanks a lot :3

I designed with no window shield that's why i put in the walls ... but if window shield is added we can remove the walls and make some adjustment inside the bunker.

:3

oh and the Entrance was suppose to be next to the slope...
The roof can allow a lighting or smaller vehicle on top... that's what the slope was for :3

OH ! :D lool oki :P but i did add a slop for vehicle ;) loved that part :) I was also thinking wouldnt it be cool if the players inside to building could shoot threw the shields ? like in half life 2. And to bring the shields down and be able to hack the door you would have to destroy a near by generator that would be linked to the bunker.

Re: KUSUTTO BUNKER 3D

ejnar,

In image 39uv I can tell you have some unnecessary planes from the white jaggy edges that appear in the image. Hide the outer surfaces and you can delete those faces pretty easily and you won’t see that artifact.

Also the side walls are connected rather poorly to the rear section. Note that while the bunker as a whole has very think walls but that one corner is only millimeters think.

Overall it’s been really cool to see you improving you’re modeling skills. However, I would also start working on the presentation of your models. Take a little extra time and consider the framing of the image and think about what you are trying to show. Putting in a small amount of effort into composition is easy once you know the rules. There are lots of great web links you can find off goggle about Gestalt and I think reading up could help your presentations.

This site explains the rules with very basic shapes http://daphne.palomar.edu/design/gestalt.html

This site has some practical analysis of photos and the underlying principles at work.

Assuming you have Photoshop, this link on the sketchup forums details a SUPER easy method of presenting your models in a way that looks like a drawing.

Keep it up!

CHIRP :) ok first hehe :P I am a 14 year old ;) which is some of the reason for my silly mistakes. These are some of the first modells i have EVER made. Of coarse these mistakes are easy to remove , BUT, you see i just want to give an image of how these amazing ideas of kusutto would look like. Thanks for the things you noticed about the modell though!. Always nice with something to improve on.
