Weapon Reload Bar
Okay I've come back and here's the first thing I'm going to put:
Display how long until the weapon is finished reloading and such, and as soon as the bar is finished you can fire. Pretty simple...now to the artwork! Two different designs, one by the crosshair, one that you can move at your discretion like the stats panel: ![]() -OR- ![]() |

i like the second one alot, looks nice, serves its purpose, not in the way, and easy to see. Good Job. Amazing no one thought of this before heh.

Don't see the point of this, easy to see when the reload is done cause of the reloadanimation.

Is too needed! Autoreload is death. This kind of bar will do alot in terms of knowing when to duck for cover and reload. 4*s!

Not exactly, many of the reload animations show the reload as being over, but you are still not able to fire for maybe 100ms afterwards.

But your ideas still look nice, don't get me wrong, I do suggest having an option to toggle it on or off, since I like my screen as clean as possible. |

this is true. the sound and animation can be long over but the reload pause is still there - it's something they adjust when balancing weapon damage output. the lasher, if i remember correctly, got the reload lengthened when the magazine capacity was increased by five - and of course the animation and sound effects remained the same.

I think an easier place to put it would be to make it the green bar that already shows your ammo. As you reload, the green bar fills back up to the top, so you can tell when it's done.
