Dual-Pistol Wielding

I was talking to some friends about this earlier this morning (or last night depending on where you are), and came to the conclusion that you should hear about it.

Ok, we all know at the moment that the Std. Assault is very dull with a Suppressor and Amp. So what about Medium Assault? Well, I came up with the idea of adopting a new feature scheduled for showing in the upcoming game Halo 2... this features is Dual-Wielding.

Now rather than reign on the parade of a game I myself are waiting for, this would work a little differently. People who would get Medium Assault would have the ability to use a pistol (that being an Amp, Disruptor or Beamer in any combination) or grenade in each hand if they wished, with key-bindings changed to reflect that. When they bought Spec. Assault, another new common-pool weapon would also be available (such as maybe an EMP weapon, since Jammers at the moment only appear as grenades for the Thumper).

Then if they got Heavy Assault, they would get another common-pool EMP weapon, but it would be similar to the VS standard rifle (I forget the name, apologies to all VS players).

This new combination in the Certs wouldn't allow for a rifle in each hand, but the new ability would be good for players with little experience, and the new EMP weapons would be without the need of Core Combat.

cool, Duel wield would be so cool, wish there was a new cert with new pistols and Personal defence weapons (PDW's), Maby "Light assult would be a good name for it, the FN P90 is the greatest sub-machine gun ever and there should be a weapon like it in planetside.

Hopefully with this duel wield idea, there may actualy be a reason to add more 1-handed pistols to the game (atm, there is only the repeater) and maby these could fall under my Light assult cert.
