Open question: If you were to improve bunkers (partially underground buildings in front of base gates), what would you do?
I think my favorite idea so far would be to put a BFR shield on each bunker.

Actually what if the random bunkers have 12mm chainguns, and base bunkers have 20mms? Also you could have bridge bunkers with mini-vehicle repair stations (to increase bridge battles) or they could have 75mm cannons.
Lastly I think we need more interesting bunkers, like ones that are up in a cliff and have stairs hewn into the rock to reach them, or bunkers that are like treehouses in the big trees, kind a walled platform (no top cover), and finally some bunkers that are for vehicles (a big vech bay door that allows all but BFRs into a walled and semi-covered area. |

Maybe I'm being stupid here, but personally I find the Bunkers to be a little cramped. They should make them be a bit larger in size so people aren't being spamkilled trying to get out the door quick.
I also believe there should be a shield, but believe the generator in base-perimeters should draw their power from the nearby NTU Silo. I also think that their shields should simply be regenerable, rather than be almost completely impervious. Now the rason why... as you may notice on Bunkers at the moment, there is a piece that stands out guarding the bunker from nearly all aerial-attacks. How would a vehicle be able to shoot at the enemy if that was protecting them inside the shield?

Me too, defenitely my favorite.
I call this Battle Island Abyss So I'm thinking a single battle island, over a massive, unsurvivable chasm. One base on either side, with this super-bridge spanning the room between them. Each side of the bridge would be capped off with a Guntower, and the middle of the bridge would sport a watchtower, giving infantry the highground, and vehicles a place to repair/rearm (Remember, by this time, there would be ground vehicle silos on watchtowers). The bridge would be very wide, but also covered in debries to give infantry on the move cover. Walkways along the sides of the bridge proper would give infantry a fighting chance at crossing without being vehicle wtfpwned. Tactical Highlights

That was my initial thought, but although the battle is balanced, I do want a slight emphasis on Infantry over Aircraft or Vehicles.
Assault Buggies and Deliverers dominate this battlefield. :D

Agreed, make them tech plants and you'll just have vanguards a'spamming and Liberators doing runs all along the bridge...
Bunkers need: Equipment term in the basement Shields in a small bubble around them, generator on the back near the door IFF locks (I didnt realise they didnt already!) Passages to the inside of the base walls/basement Some could be raised and put on buttresses out from the bases walls, towring high above the attackers.

Yes to the bunker ideas, but we should also put bunkers on the bridge in Hayoo's Abyss concept! The super-bridge would be great, but please remember that the cover would absolutely need to be dense, or else the infantry would easily die against Marauder's, Aurora's, and whatever the NC deliverer variant is.
