The most annoying thing in this game is when Combat Engineers have to deploy mines. For one, if someone sees you doing it you become even more valuable a target, and second, "Jammer Grenades" are the only best weapon against them, but blowing one up and not seeing another gets you killed.
Now what I'm talking about here wouldn't disarm a mine per say, but it would be an efficient way to working with mines. This could be called the Lamprey, and would not only be able to detect mines within a certain distance (and tell you what side planted them), but let you plant mines of your own (say 20 at a time). I'll be posting up a sketch of it in a couple of days.

Well not really. It would appear more like twice the size of an ANT, but shaped much like those demolition-rovers made for defusing explosives.
It would also be on tracks so it wouldn't be nearly as fast.

Well if it has tracks, lays mines, and looks anything like a lamprey then I think it'd be pretty damn cool lookin :lol:
