I've been getting connection problems while playing games like BF1942, and CS:S. BF1942 actually tells me when I get them, and i get them like every 2 minutes. CS:S same thing but the game just lags.

I did a Cnet.com test and got http://reviews.cnet.com/7009-7254_7-0.html?CType=2273&ac=508&ISPID=&ISPNAME=Comcast&&k bps=1396.8
which is half of what my friend got, and he has the same ISP

my network is set up as follows
modem>router>hub>mycomputer
and there is a computer hooked up to that router.

I had this problem one night, started up adaware, found something, got rid of it, the problem was gone and I played fine. This happened yesterday. Today the problem is back.

I have no idea what to do. Though I know my computer isn't the healthiest. IE doesn't function at all, I just get error messages.

Read up lol.

Basically I kept getting disconnected from a game, and its really annoying.

It still kinda happens.

Nono. You said the problem was fixed. What was causing the problem?

the problem was never really fixed

basically i had lots of spyware on my comp
it was uploading information which whenever you do slows your connection bandwith, normally spyware can be deleted but mine kept coming back, i had something called a super spider trojan in my comp and it kept jacking my internet explorer browser and attracting lots of spyware, this thing spread to like 315 files so I had to scan for all of them then delete them all using HijackThis

everything is fine now, and I was retarded for not having Service Pack 2 because that will stop lots of stuff from getting onto your computer
