I think your real age should be listed with your character information. I'm tired of partying with a twelve year old tank that doesn't understand how to play the game with other people. Here are the rules:

1.) Don't aggro 10 monsters at once
2.) Don't treat treasure chests better than your party
3.) Don't sit ideal when a mage/priest is getting all the aggro
4.) Protect the FUCKING healer
5.) Let distance attackers (hunters/mages/etc) PULL monsters to you.

Don't run like a damned pansy towards the exit or a treasure chest when the rest of your party is getting pwned by a lvl 25 elite mob (when everyone is about lvl 20).

1. Unless, of course, you're like lvl 20 and the mobs are lvl 5
2. If it's "share loot" and you do it fast, everybody gets a profit even if they die.
3. afk! Seriously though, this point is so true.
4. Paladins do fine on their own, and they're also decent healers. Protect a little, but if it's unnecessary, you don't have to.
5. Or let them respawn right where your party is... :mad:

I'm in final beta right now, sick of all the n00bs running round screaming "OMG GIVE ME MONEY!!!"

1. Learn Tailoring
2. Learn to make bags
3. Farm linen and level as well
4. Sell 6 slot bags for 3S a pop, making nice money for doing little.

20. learn c++ and hack up some macros so you level while you're afk.

I pisses me off when you fight off a mob to secure a mineral vain or a chest and some ass takes it when you did all the hard work to secure it. I myself did that to a person once and I gave him the stuff in the chest.

Another solution:

Join a good guild. I just got into one today... and my game experience has already gotten a lot better. There is always someone around to help you with a quest or just go kick ass... I really need to get my levels up so I can go on a pwning raid.

lvl 20 can get you into the barrens solo.

Yes, it can... but you don't have lvl 40-50 guildies backing you up.
