In the post below is a rough outline of a storyboard layout (we will have a downloadable win-doc template eventually). Players will be able to sign up to work on an individual Lesson or on a whole Guide according to their preference and talents.
A lesson can have several sections to teach a basic concept. Each section can be made up of one or more screens, navigated by back and next buttons.
Audio will automatically start when the new page comes up, but can be stopped or replayed with a single button click. Narration must be short enough that a player does not have to wait a long time to pick up where they left off if they closed the audio for any reason.
Interactives will mimic the game world. For example, if we have a lesson on Equipment terminals, then the interactive must allow a player to actually click and view on each item and tab in the window. If we have a lesson on the command to "jump," a player will be able to hit spacebar at the appropriate screen and watch a character jump, and so forth.
