Planetside seems cool from the few hours I played today, though a few things really stand out.

Doing training missions, sometimes the trigger for doing certain things don't activate, like when you need to purchase a MedKit. I purchased one, and nothing happened, the mission objective still wanted me to purchase one. So I got another one. And another one. No go, but I was finally able to finish the training by restarting it about 3 times.

Another thing, it crashes a lot. In the 4 hours I played, it crashed 4 times.

And with any Saitek device the game doesn't start. You gotta disable it before the game will launch, otherwise you just get a black screen with music playing.

Also, a few times I tried to launch the game, but it just kicks me back to the desktop with the game running in the background. I just couldn't get the game to start.

Otherwise, the game seems really cool. I'll keep playing in the next 10 days hopefully it will get better for me :)

Thanks to Blizzard for sending me a key :)

Yea, the Saitek this is because of the Saitek Software

Don't use the device. As that Saitek refuses to acknowledge the problem. And SOE has yelled at them a few times over that.

The Crashing, probably due to the Device being Plugged in. Un plug and see if it still does that.

and Yea we know Training is bugged. It's being worked on.

like he said, saitek is a known issue. quite exciting when they were just released, and people suddenly got black screens.

training... usually it works for me the second time through. at least those missions aren't required. the 500 point reward is lucrative though.

also, i get crashes with any machine, depending on my ps configuration. usually making adjustments to the textures and other video elements. that is... i lock up and crash if i turn all my textures on. it's sweet.

yeah the problem with the game refusing to launch into the foreground was a conflict with either Folding@Home or Azureus.

The game didn't crash for me today though, I had it running all day with all settings maxed out, crusing around 140FPS. Eventually I turned on Vsync so my screen didn't "tear" and now i'm pegged at 60FPS.

Good stuff, like the game so far!

The graphical Version of F@H will do that.

The console version of F@H wont cause any conflicts, that way you wont have to remember to kill it or restart it
