Okay, I gotta get this out of my system. It's been buggin me for a bit.

If you change something, no matter of how minor it is, I want this rule followed:

Descriptions are to be used for ALL edits!

Changed a spelling? "Corrected spelling of >word<"
Added a minor detail? "Added info about such-n-such"
Created it? "Creation"

you get the idea. The description box is there for a reason. Nothing frustrates me more than looking at the RSS feed of the Wiki with a list of changes with no descriptions.

My reasoning behind this: Blank descriptions are often a sign of vandalism. A vandal sure as hell isn't going to leave a description of how they broke the page. It's simply another layer of protection for this thing, and it also very useful for collaboration between users, and makes the job of tracking vandals alot easier for the sysops.

Plus it's nice to know exacty what the hell is going on in that mess of information at a glance.

Again, I ask that there be descriptions left on any and all edits, including the minor ones. It's not that hard, and is a simple request.

I'm technically the guy who's supposed to safe guard this thing, and setting a few guidelines would fall into the job description.

Thanks. ^_^

Ah, yes, good idea. I'm guilty of the crime, but the two or three times I've done it is because I was a moron and hit "submit" before typing in a description. Just sloppy, I suppose.

I do it all the time, unless I forget, which is not so often luckily.

BTW Neo, fix the damn Merit pictures!

Ditto, plus I thought everyone could just read my mind sometimes. It has shattered me that this has been revealed as untrue. :(

Banned two users within the past week......and I caught them because they didn't use descriptions.

Fair warning. ;)

Logging in before editing and then using descriptions after you edit...yeah, good idea. If those two are filled, I don't even check the edit.
