My thoughts:

Decent movie... some good action... good mystery. CG is quite impressive as well... some new ways of doing Bullet Time.

However:

Asimov is turning in his grave. Simply an expression really... like me, Asimov was an open aetheist. Too bad his daughter sold out and allowed Hollywood to bastardize his life's work.

So in conclusion, good movie... but I have to revoke great movie on principle.

Was Will Smith the overactor that I expect him to be?

The story looks good, the movie looks good, but I'm dreadfully afraid of rolling my eyes every time he opens his mouth.

Will Smith did a fairly good job in it... some very good one-liners... plus he stole one of Tommy Lee Jone's lines from Men in Black:

I'm gonna get some coffee, you want some coffee?

The first thing I thought into about 30 minutes of this film was "Sellout". This is almost as bad as Blade: Trinity in product placements.

Billboards with things like Pepsi on, and I can't remember but I think he puts a pair of Nike (or something) sneakers on at the start.

Never read the book but thought the movie was mildly entertaining. I was rootin' for the robots in the end though :*( .

I also thought that that big brain being the bad guy( I guess you could call it bad guy) was kind of lame even though it had me completely fooled until right before it was revealed.
