TIME FRAME: 1hour 15minutes
BREAKS: 3 4minute 30seccond : 13minutes 30secconds
PRODUCTION: Live Shoutcast from teamspeak / Live to Tape video ingame.
Example Show Schedule
Preshow with 30seccond promo of guests
1]Show opening with announcer voice saying the host and guests
2]First guest comes out and talks about thier project
3]BREAK 1
4]First guest might stay if not second guest comes out
5]BREAK 2
6]Third Guest comes out (prefriably director of some planetside video or writer of fan fiction)
7]BREAK 3
8]If third guest has material play/show it if not show filler material
9]End Show

I spoke with GreyFlcn and he is excited to be a guest if I do a trial show to see if people are intrested. I'm still looking for a host.
I'd be happy to host/co-host it, but I'm gonna be country-hopping a bit this summer, and for whatever reason, my school provided laptop requires administrative access to use TS... I'll search around for a host other than myself though.
Sounds like a good compliment to a community roundtable.
That does sound pretty cool. :) I'd tune in for a Greyflcn interview.

I'm one of the folks Mag mentioned, and I'm interested. I'm a member of the command staff at Strength And Honour, and help where I can to keep the outfit running. I've been playing PlanetSide regularily since the final closed beta.
I have some real life radio experience doing voices, promos, morning show antics, odd sorts of alternate music shows, remotes, etc. All r/l airwave stuff. I even got to party with Badfinger! Well, that's another story.
You may have heard me on the AGN Community Night occasionally on PSU.
I think I could bring some fun and impartial-ness to the show. I keep a serious eye to the gaming scene (especially PlanetSide, of course) and do some communications work in my job. I have a background in software testing, and know the ins and outs of the software development lifecycle, which comes in really handy here, believe it or not, especially when discussing the details with a dev.
I think I can bring something to the show that has been lacking in other shows...think late-night talk show: fun with a slight serious side. Just enough sweet with just enough salty (or is that my kettle corn? I dunno.).
I'd be honoured to have a shot at it, and welcome a time to do whatever interviews/discussions you might want to have to consider a candidate for the position.
I did have a couple of questions: What type of interviews will be conducted? Are the questions cold, that is, made up just beforehand and not given to the interviewees? Will they be warm, that is, given to the interviewees ahead of time? There's advantages and disadvantages to both methods. Will the questions be primarily from the community at large, or will they be researched by the interviewer and perhaps staff?
I've had some discussions with Mag as to scheduling and such, but what were you planning on for schedule/times, Dennis?

I would like biweekly Tuesdays around 1900EST.
The interviewees would talk to the "Writing staff" ahead of time and the "writing staff" would do research on the person and what the person wants to talk about. Then give bullet point questions and facts for the host to come up questions. The host would be expected to talk to the guest before the show and during breaks about what the host wants to talk about so the host gets a feel for the answers.
I want this to be coffee talk. Yes I picked the name for the reference.

Um...I have r/l stuff going on on Fridays a lot of the time. I think I could commit to once, even twice a month if it was during the week. The drawback is that I'm on the West Coast and don't get home from work until 6PM PDT/9PM EDT. Although I could flex my schedule so I get home an hour earlier if need be.
The current thought was what Biz mentioned. Once to twice a month on a Friday at around 9PM EST. The idea is to work these in the weeks when we don't have developer interviews or the upcoming community nights. There'll be more information on those once I get back to my house on Tuesday.

Actually the possibilities are endless. We could have a "caller" ask a question of the guests during a portion of the show, have a regular roundtable, do a point/counterpoint, etc. (gears continuing to turn...many more ideas in the queue)
I'm excited regardless of if I'm picked to host, but of course, I'd love to host. Some of the best t.v. hosts in history were relatively unknown when they started. ;)

Have these leaders (or represenatives) talk about what they've done, and each one can have their chance at pimpin their outfit on the air for recruiting.

SO, any word on this? The more I think about it, the more this can be something truly ground-breaking. My IM info. is on the left, and I'll be around in IRC as soon as I remember how to set up this script properly. I've not been on IRC since I was blacklisted and booted off my ISP in '97. Ahh, the "wonder" years...
I'm just mulling over things, thinking about how we want to schedule guests. As of now it's pretty much a go. Just a few details to clean-up.

Actually, I don't think the 3-way format will be used for the first show. Mag should be announcing something soon.
Yep, am now actually... how about that.
Anyway, for this first show, since I couldn't find a VS seat in a timely enough fashion (which will by the way be WNxKenwayy) and due to the nature of the guests, the primary host, BizSAR will be the only panelist for the evening. In future episodes, Neo and Ken will be included.
The show is set to air at 2100 EDT, 1800 PDT. The guests will be martyr and Hayoo, the host will be BizSAR, and there will be a 15 minute period toward the end of the show for questions recieved via IRC.
And finally, I hope to have DJs on prior to and following the show.
