So I discovered something while waiting for my check pilot to show up today. The key for 435 will open the doors on 433 and 437 as well. It seems that the story about there being only four blanks for all the skyhawks is true, of course, now i would doubt that it's even that many. this is definetly bad for safety, and would cost relatively little to remedy. my question is, why haven't they done so?

Too busy spending student money on stuff like Videoconferencing calls via ISDN, flat screens, etc. Technology is great, I love it, but if a 20 dollar lock for all the aircraft would protect the 200,000 inside them all, wouldn't that be a better way to spend it?

Yea, pretty much, but it works so great for videoconferencing calls and for a backup if a frame relay goes down. Expensive as all get out however. 300 bucks a month just for the line, and you're charged by the minute when the line is in use.
