Wow, sure appears that way. Shite, and I really want an assault rifle this summer. Gotta figure out my priorities now I guess, new computarness for new gameage, or new assault rifle.
mmm... choices choices...

No, cause you don't have an assault rifle yet.
I've got my computer all set... I don't know if my GeForce4 Ti 4400 will be enought to run Doom3 and HL2... all I really want is 1024x768x32bit @ 30fps... we'll have to wait and see how this machine can handle it.
If not... it will be time to move up to a new video card and triple my RAM.

You just love your little power struggles, don't you?
Mine's a laptop, yours is a desktop, so comparison really isn't applicable.
Besides, mine's an Alienware, and therefore comparison REALLY isn't applicable.

Brand names do not make something better by default.
um, no. I believe the issue here is gaming horsepower not mobility or weight, so comparison is applicable. your third sentence makes absolutely no sense. PCs are commodities, differentiating by manufacturer means almost nothing
so the argument here is really that bliz has a better video card and more cache on his processor, you have a higher frequency processor: which is better for the money?
oh yes, and bonus points to bliz for using the word 'twain' in his signature
MORE CASH... err... CACHE!!!
I want a large enough L1 cache to put windows on it...
i concur. that would be pretty fucking cool. but imagine the die size
forget the die size... imagine how much the fucker would cost to construct? And on top of that... with that many more things to etch... I imagine the yield off just one 400mm wafer would be around 20%.
Who has it? Who wants it? How is it?
HOLY CRAP, THAT IS THE SCARIEST GAME I HAVE EVER PLAYED IN MY LIFE.
The graphics are amazing, so are the sound effects. Bring your emergency pants, turn off the lights, and prepare to have the living shit scared out of you.
I love it :)
So not fair - none of the stores in CLT have it in stock until tomorrow. Totally weak.
totally weak.
also, i didn't actually buy it.
Then how are you playing it. You aren't breaking the law again are you?
No.
I'll take the heat.
It was meeee!
I broke down and bought it today (was planning on waiting until I got my last paycheck)...
All I can say is "DAMN!!! EYE CANDY!!!!!"
But bring an extra pair of shorts when you play... you'll need them when you piss yourself in fear.
BTW: Make sure you bring ID with you when you go to buy it... I got carded. Crazy huh?
we like to break laws together.
it's sort of a bonding thing, or something...
i'll buy it eventually
You two are bad. Very very bad.
