So, is SOE hosting a planetside FanFaire? Or are they just inviting us to an EQ one? Or is this their name for the Mobilization?

Their site seems to have Tomcat broken right now. Looks like an admin didn't finish installing the site's support software before they posted links to it. Oops. Or perhaps the server just fell over under the load....hah.

i don't mind saying that i would never want to hang out with the EQ crowd, no matter how "involved" they make planetside. our game gets cool military-sounding stuff like mobilizations, not a "fan faire."

Yeah, Brenlo has been pressuring me to attend... it is in Vegas, so that's always a plus. :)

i have to say, they have the cost and vegas going for them.

but the cost doesnt include lodging or food, and i don't ever want to be near that many EQ people, no matter how much laser tag they offer.

I'd have to agree. Vegas can get expensive...uh...and the lodging and food can be expensive as well.

Hmm. Quick check shows the average is $120 per night/room for 1 adult.
Airfare could be between $200-300
Food can easily reach $100
Slot machines $2,000
Dark Elf Strippers $500

That could be over $3,000!!
