View Full Version : What web browser do you use?
No, why is Mozilla so good?
Cuz it's fast and it has the best compatibility of any browser. Evar.

Mozilla rocks on! IE just can't handle it anymore...freezes up too often, doesn't like to load ER7600 often. Mozilla is great for those dialup services, it loads pages quickly...which, *sniff*, I'll be going home to in a bout two weeks.
mozilla's startup time pisses me off though

I use both IE and Firefox. Firefox doesn't give me any particular advantages over IE, and it takes longer to load, so I am sticking with IE.
That's really odd that firefox takes a long time to load... you might have other problems.... microsoft has you.

Since I'm not the only one to post that it takes a long time to load, it could be that I simply used both, and I liked the Microsoft product better.
I was a Netscape/Mozilla guy until IE 5.

I'll agree that Mozilla takes 3 or 4 seconds longer to load on startup than IE, but it's page load seems much much quicker (Try it on a dialup, and you'll see the difference).
Did he just say dial-up?

Yes...yes I did say it. But don't worry, I'm not hooking my computer up to it...I'll be using my brother's computer for that...I'll be taking mine to my friend's house, where the cable modem serves us well. Sorry if I offended any one by saying the d-word.

Actually, come to think of it...my new compy doesn't even have a modem in it! (Now that's unconscious foresight!)
Dial-up makes me feel dirty.
I can't believe dial-up still exists...
...it's in the same league as cassette tapes and VHS...
And floppies...
Damned magnetic media.
