beforeI typed a long description of this, but the stupid thing shut down after i had been typing for 15 miniuts, so i'm a little pissed.
I like the BFR-System, but not really the BFR, i think you should have "technical-likie assault buggies, tanks and aircraft. i made a HUGE list w/ all avalible weapons for each empire, i'll try to recreate it but for safty i'll post it then edit it and so, on...
we all know how to get weapons for a BFR, Right? well its the same with all our vehicles and aircraft
here is a quik example you buy a maurader you go by the repair/rearm silo and select Heavy Minigun (as primary) and mini-flak as secondary weapon.
note: you cannot put rocket pods on a vangard, or for example morters on a deliverer, :P


Common pool
(all common-pool weapons on vehicles)
ie:reaver rocket pod, 12mm machine gun
NEW
- light grenade launcher
- rocklet gun

NC: (enforcer add-ons)
(Anti-tank based)
- Firebird rocket launcher (Default)
- triple barrled rocklet gun (Short range, very pwerful)
- Heavy recoiless rifle (long distance, accurate, powerful)
- Mini Sparrow launcher (inflicts minamal AA damage)
- Z74 Prototype Shotgun (Very damiging to infantry, reload system not yet perfected,(takes long time to reload)
- Gause platform (looks like maurder gun, alot longer though)

TR: (Maurder additions)
Primary (back mounted)
- Heavy Proximity Grenade Launcher (default)
- Multi-Function grenade launcher ( less distance more types of grenades)
- "fire-ball gun" (not quite OFFICIAL name)(shoots anti-infantry fire thingys :D)
- quad 50 (modified to be more futeristic, same concept though)

Yeah, the empire buggies are currently indistinctive. A swappable main weapon would be cool.

Ideally, I'd like to see a swappable main weapon. Maybe a selection of three, each that follows the empire's "themes", like those you suggested.

That, and remove the 12mm from the Marauder and let the guy fire any non-rocket based weapons from that seat.

i havent finished list yet, i am (eventually going to edit in maurader secondary weapons :) and do VS as well, then i do aircraft, i feel the main battle tanks should be left alone

Lol, this just got me thinking about one of the items i talked about in the Covert Warfare topic, A version of the real Life vehicle, the striker.

Maby we could put in some kind of cert based system to get differnt weapons to it, by default it would have a machine gun similer to the one found on the harraser, but if we had other certs, we could add different weapons.

Examples.
HA - Some form of heavier machine gun.
AV - Some form of Missile weapon like on the Enforcer.
SA - Some form of grenade weapon like on the maurorder.
Ground Transport - Some type of Transport modual that could carry a few troops.
Medical - A type of Medivac modual (Hayoo's Idea)

The vehicle itself could cost 2/3 certs, depending on how many ideas we could come up with.

What do you guys think?

i'm all for multi purpose vehicles like the striker, blackhawk, humvee
i think the harrasser could eisily be changed into one.

I guess the Harasser could always use some new purpose, maybe we could get a Merit that allows a harasser "Multipurpose" variant.

What about a kind of half-track? With a moduler set-up on the back that could be configured in bases or warpgates. You know, with NTU's.

You could have fun stuff like:

Flak module= 2 spaces
machine gun module= 2 spaces
NTU battery= 1 space
Bomb= 1 space
APC module= 4 spaces
Med Veh= 4 spaces
Limited AMS mod= 4 spaces
Extra trunk= 1 space

Oh, and yes, I'm new.
