This week, Weds, Thurs & Fri there will be a full motion Wright Brothers flight simulator in the College of Aviation atrium. If you are interested, it is free for all ERAU students -- check it out!
Got it from the AFROTC mailer... It'd be great to try.

If it's the same one as EAA built (or based on it) it's really hard to fly, you pretty much have to stay in ground effect to get a descent flight out of it.

But it was alot of fun to fly.

I saw it today in the COA - the flight line end. It looks cool, but yeah, hard to fly.

I heard this guy say that the controls were extremely sensitive.

I still haven't played with it, I guess I should before they take it away

Bill Baker looked like he was having a ball with it - I love that guy.

The EAA didn't actually build it, did they?

And does anyone know what's going to happen to it when it goes away?

Are they these ones:

If so they are indeed the EAA ones. Which according to the press release:

In early 2004, EAA's 1903 Wright Flyer reproduction will become part of a new aviation display at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Mich.
