The idea that getting better vehicles from the benefits of having a technology plant is great! But why not have weapons you can get from a Weapons Factory base benefits? This would bring:

new advanced weapons
new base type
more fun duhh!

Another good facility idea. But these would need to be special weapons, wouldn't they? Maybe a good way to introduce support weapons (like portable machine guns and mortars) into PS.

i like the idea of a facility to gain moveable implacements for Combat engies or maby a new cert all together.

adding this could make things alot easyer or alot harder to attack a base. just think if you have say a CE squad running around setting up small outpost around a base you are attacking you could have 15mm betting them back the out of the courtyard.

I realy like the idea good job.

Good idea... Great way to add multiple things to the game all at once. Would be easy to make up a back story to it too.

I haven't read all the way through the field emplacement info on the main Idealab site yet, but I think that with this facility, we could introduce Mark 2 ACEs. These would take up more inventory space, thus their ability to construct larger and more complex deployables. Where a Combat Eng. in rexo can deploy four to five (may not have the numbers right) Spitfires or mines, the same Com. Eng. can only deploy two support weapons or field structures.
