Over the summer, one of mine and Martyr's good friends got dumped by someone who treated him like a steaming pile of pig shit. He was gutted, as expected - the couple had been together for something like 3 years and were the only people eachother had ever dated. I felt very sorry for him as I watched him progress from broken hearted man to slightly less broken hearted man.
Recently, he has been seeing this woman who both he and Martyr have known for ages, and this woman seems to be the yin to his yang. When he tells people of their union, everyone smacks themself and thinks, "Why didn't you two get together sooner!".
This friend told me today that he and this new woman (who is adorable, and about 38 times cuter than the old girl, the Hose Beast) have exchanged "I love you's" with eachother and I just wanted to start a thread to say CONGRATULATIONS! to him and Elena :)
